Julia's Rise
Prior to starting her own ventures, Julia built business strategies and financial models for Fortune 500 companies, including Alibaba, Disney+, and McKinsey & Co.
After beginning her career at McKinsey & Co., Julia moved on to work in Disney corporate strategy. While there, Julia built the global financial model for Disney+, the subscription video streaming service launched in 2019, where she worked directly with the segment CFO.
Born in San Francisco but raised in Beijing, Julia prides herself on being a hybrid of both cultures, carrying a global perspective in life that has heavily influenced her career success. As Chief of Staff at Alibaba North America, Julia led global business operations for a cross-border eCommerce and tech titan.
Following her corporate success, Julia founded her two companies. USourced, a modern tech platform and marketplace utilizing generative AI to automate custom product sourcing from global manufacturing suppliers and optimize supply chain management. Additionally, her second company, Multitasky is a (FUN)ctional omnichannel lifestyle brand designed for women, which launched with Good Morning America and Urban Outfitters, and has been featured in Forbes, CNN, Cosmopolitan, and more.
