Esosa's Rise

Esosa Ighodaro-Johnson is the Co-Founder of Black Women Talk Tech (BWTT), the largest collective of Black women tech founders in the world, representing a network of over 150,000 entrepreneurs. Since launching BWTT in 2017, Esosa has been a driving force in helping Black women build the next billion-dollar businesses while breaking down barriers unique to their experiences in the tech industry. Under her leadership, BWTT has created a powerful ecosystem through the annual Roadmap to Billions Conference, ten local chapters—including London—an informative podcast, eLearning webinars, year-round live events, and real pathways to funding. In 2023, she expanded her impact by launching AcceleratorCON, now the largest accelerator event in America, connecting startups with investors and resources to fuel their growth. Prior to BWTT, Esosa built two influencer marketing businesses and served as a bank executive at Citigroup, combining 15+ years of entrepreneurial and corporate experience to champion innovation and access for underrepresented founders.
