With a career spanning over 25 years and $10 billion in commercial real estate, Katie is an expert financier, experienced in working for various national and global banks and financial institutions. Katie leveraged her expertise to focus on expanding her global angel investment portfolio, working full time to help startup founders get funded faster.
While working in commercial real estate, Katie originated, underwrote, closed, and asset-managed commercial real estate loans in every major US market (including acting as her bank’s lead for the largest real estate deal ever done), which honed her expertise in strategy, due diligence, finance, and screening people and their businesses.
Through investing in various avenues, Katie discovered her true passion in life and created her angel investment thesis to invest in underrepresented founders, primarily in Consumer Packaged Goods and Technology.
